Every time you take on a new client to provide your services to, you’ll want to sign a contract with them.
Here’s our recommendation.
The Lifestyle photography agreement is for any portrait or lifestyle shoot sessions.
The wedding & event photography agreement is for wedding photography (and say, accompanying engagement shots.)
The stock photography agreement is for if you’re shooting stock photos for a business or brand. Note: This agreement is not for selling stock photos to a number of businesses online, but instead is for one stock photo shoot for one business.
The videography agreement is for any video shoots (wedding, business, etc.)
If you offer a combination of these different types of shoots, we suggest purchasing one of these full agreements, and then for the other types of shoots purchase a “half-contract” add-on template.
As most photographers don’t have a physical storefront, your digital storefront - that is - your website, becomes a lot more important to displaying your beautiful past work and making a fabulous first impression.
In order to protect your business and your site visitors, you’ll want the following two essential templates on your website, the Privacy Policy & the Website Terms & Conditions.
If you need to purchase both, you can buy them in our Website Basics bundle and save $55.
Did your client love your work so much, they want to reuse it in other ways, such as on mug or in a publication?
If yes, you’ll want to also grab the extended licensing agreement!
If you offer services that are complimentary to photography, such as a package with both a brand/business photoshoot and a website design, then you may make use of our add-on provisions.
We don’t believe its right to have you purchase full two separate agreements if you offer complimentary services, therefore the offering of our add-on provisions!
If you also are looking to make sales through your site like selling a product (say albums or prints) then you’ll want our Terms & Conditions for Online Sales.
If you’d like to sell your expertise as a course, say on how to land more clients as a photographer, then we also have a Terms & Conditions for Online Courses.
If you also need the Privacy Policy & the Website Terms & Conditions as well as Terms & Conditions for Online Sales, we have a bundle with all three together. When you purchase the bundle of all 3 you’ll save $100.

If you’re ready to take the step to incorporate your business as a LLC, you’ll need an operating agreement in order to start the incorporation process.
We have two LLC incorporation templates.
The Single Member LLC is for you if you’re founding the LLC solo.
The Multi-Member LLC is perfect if you’re funding the LLC with one or more business partners.
Note: You just need one of these agreements, not both.

The obvious collaboration for a photographer is a styled shoot. The Styled Shoot Agreement is tailored exactly to the situation of a number of vendors collaboratively coming together to produce a styled shoot.
