CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT

Let’s start with the services you offer!

Every time you take on a new client to provide your services to, you’ll want to sign a contract with them.

Here’s our recommendation.

WEBSITE LEGALITY

In order to protect your business and your site visitors, you’ll want the following two essential templates on your website, the Privacy Policy & the Website Terms & Conditions.

If you need to purchase both, you can buy them in our Website Basics bundle and save $55.

Selling through your site

If you also are looking to make sales through your site like selling a product (say by turning your signature system into an digital guide) then you’ll want our Terms & Conditions for Online Sales.

If you’d like to sell your expertise as a course, then we also have a Terms & Conditions for Online Courses.

If you also need the Privacy Policy & the Website Terms & Conditions as well as Terms & Conditions for Online Sales, we have a bundle with all three together. When you purchase the bundle of all 3 you’ll save $100!

Or, if you need the Privacy Policy & the Website Terms & Conditions as well as Terms & Conditions for Online Courses, those have also been bundled together, again, saving you $100!

INCORPORATION

If you’re ready to take the step to incorporate your business as a LLC, you’ll need an operating agreement in order to start the incorporation process.

We have two LLC incorporation templates.

The Single Member LLC is for you if you’re founding the LLC solo.

The Multi-Member LLC is perfect if you’re funding the LLC with one or more business partners.

Note: You just need one of these agreements, not both.

*Can't decide which template you need? If you think you might bring on a partner at some point, we recommend the Multi-Member LLC Operating Agreement.

hiring

If you’re looking to bring on team members to help you with your coaching or consulting business, such as additional coaches, or simply bringing on a virtual assistant for a little back-end business assistance, there’s a few ways to hire them.

If you’re not sure what classification you should give your new team member (ie. employee, contractor, intern, extern, etc.), then we recommend first starting with our e-Book, the Fundamentals of Hiring.

After that, you’ll know what classification you’d like to give your new hire, and then you may purchase the relevant template.

Marketing & collaboration

If you’re ready to take your coaching or consulting business to the next level, it’s time to start a consistent marketing & collaborations effort!

Here’s what each is used for. If you plan to sell a product and wish to have other industry peers (affiliates) promote it, the affiliate agreement is the right fit for you.

If you are looking to start your own podcast and invite guests on it, then the Podcast Interview Agreement is right for you.

Finally, if you’d like a little help from guest posters/guest writers on your blog or online magazine, then the Article Submissions Agreement is right for you.

Non-Disclosure

As a business coach or consultant, you’re likely discussing future opportunities for your clients or creating new ideas with them. In this case, having a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on hand for both you and your client to sign is recommended.

With a NDA, you can both discuss your ideas freely, without fear of idea-stealing.

SERVICE CANCELLATIONS & TERMINATIONS

What happens if your coaching or consulting client wishes to cancel your services?

Our Termination & Cancellation agreement is the appropriate template to sign with your client, overriding your original client agreement and cancelling the project.
